Question about buying camera in Japan

Hello there

I need some help here, is there anyone out there who's experienced in buying something from a website in Japan, and send it to your place ?

Actually I'm planning to buy a Digital Camera from a Japan's site, and maybe I will let them to send it to my friend's house and then they will send it to here in Guangzhou.

If there anyone know what kind of delivering service is good for this kind of stuff ? coz' this camera is not a cheap stuff so I don't want to have it broken in my arm when I received. Is it quite safe to do somekind like this ?

O yeah about the guarantee, the camera which I'm going to buy is nikon, so is there anyone know about the guarantee ? I think it's a international one, isn't it ? and if it is an international guarantee, will I be able to use it in HK ?
